We hired Tom Wheatley, owner of Pedagogy Home & Repair, to oversee the remodel of our kitchen. Tom was on site and on time when he said he would be to oversee the project. Tom was there to oversee every phase of our remodel including demolition, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, countertops and installation of our appliances. He did everything he promised to see that our kitchen was done beautifully. He went beyond what we agreed to have do and did things we did not expect. He was an excellent contractor and it was a pleasure working with him. We will hire him again.

Tom and Louis did an excellent job installing some cabinets and floating shelves for us to make a dry bar. They were great to work with, easy to schedule a time, and the finished product looks really nice. We also appreciated how they took care of our house, making sure to clean up any dust. Tom Wheatley is a skilled carpenter and general contractor. The name of his business is “Pedagogy home and repair”, The job involved remodeling a loft condo to enclose the lof and add a second bedroom by extending the second level across the open space. the “Pedagogy” came about because he also was a high-school teacher who taught home building and remodeling. Business was interrupted by COVID and led him to take on several projects in the SLC and Park City area. I found his work to be of the highest quality. I was impressed by his knowledge of the craft and his general management skills. When problems arose, he never shirked his responsibilities, nor made excuses. The overall quality of the job was excellent. I found that he was easy to work with and aimed to please us at every turn.
